Well another belt defense occurred yesterday (Tuesday), and Matty seems to have a calm cool head about him again. He handled the belt defense with no pressure almost as he doesn't even care.
Routine putts and clutch putts are back. Matty made several one putts to save pars shooting a quiet 37 and successfully defended the belt. Playing competitors James & DC both posted a 41. James was very happy with his improvement and is gaining confidence off the tee. DC continues to struggle with the dreaded 4 foot putt and is looking for a quick fix. He even tried to buy a new putter off E-bay, yet was outbid at the last second. Hopefully he'll overcome his struggle soon.
Matty has taking the lead in the overall standings, and if he continues this cool play he may never let it go. However, I wouldn't count Jr. out! He has shown signs of greatness recently and his putter is heating up. W know how dangerous he can be if it catches fire.
Stayed tuned for the next match Thursday evening it will definitely be a celebration for at least one (JR's Bday) or more than one. (belt win, and let's hope a huge cash grab).
